With all the trestles you decide what length of timber is required. You can support the full width or length of a 8ft x 4ft sheet of ply or MDF safely. This makes working on your own possible.

All trestles are designed to take standard ‘off the shelf’ timber available from most DIY and timber suppliers. Depending on the quality of the timber you may have to plane the edges to ensure an easy fit. Avoid timber with knots, especially if they are towards the middle. For the ultimate trestle you may wish to use hardwood and machine it to size. Timber may require redressing if it becomes wet.

650mm high with a specially designed top to fit a standard size 4”x 2” (PAR) piece of timber.

Ideal for plasterers, with the wider top it is easier for platform use.

750mm high with a specially designed top to fit size 4”x 2” (PAR) piece of timber.

Again suitable for carpenter/chippys, but being taller more suitable with power tools.

650mm high with a specially designed top to fit a standard size 7.5”x 1.75” sawn piece of timber.

Ideal for plasterers, with the wider top it is easier for platform use.

750mm high with a specially designed top to fit a standard size 9 ”x 2” sawn piece of timber.

Ideal for bricklayers, with the wider top enabling platform use.
